Have questions about our services? We’re here to help.
Yes. The surgical coordinator will give you a form with all required post-operative appointments that are scheduled.
You will receive postoperative eye drops as well as instructions on how to use at the surgery center on the day of surgery. Please follow these instructions and call our office if you have any questions!
After surgery, your vision will seem slightly different. You may experience tilted, distorted or blurry vision, light sensitivity, and the inability to move your eye or open your lid. These symptoms should last no longer than 6 hours. Redness is also not unusual. If you are having concerns, feel free to reach out to our office with any questions. You will have a 1 day, 1 week and 1 month appointment following your surgery.
After surgery, you will be bandaged with half moon bandages and ointment in your eyes. You should ice over the bandages on and off every 20 minutes until you go to sleep. Keep the bandages dry. You will be blurry. The next morning you can remove the bandages leaving the clear plastic tape and blue sutures in place. Use ointment on incision sites twice a day and in your eyes at night. (If you had your lower lids done, you will need a 1 day post-operative appointment and your bandages will be removed.) You will then be seen at your 1 week appointment and your sutures will be removed. Call our office if you experience any excessive bleeding or severe pain.
Why deal with the headache of scheduling appointments when you can simply walk in? Our doors are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and receive immediate attention for your urgent eye care needs.
